Stone’s Throw 24 is a cute and cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in the east village. With an open concept and a warm colour scheme throughout, this home is perfect for entertaining and can seat up to 10 people in the dining area! The living room features a large L-shaped couch across from a lovely stone fireplace, above which a flatscreen TV is mounted and ready for your movie night.
Just off of the living room is access to your private hot tub on the balcony which can also be accessed from the master bedroom. You can enjoy a great view of Mt Morrisey across the way right from the comfort of your tub!
This home features a king bed in the master bedroom (with an ensuite bathroom), a tri-bunk (queen on the bottom, single on the top) in the second bedroom, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The second bathroom is just across from the second bedroom for easy access. There’s a great storage area just inside the front door where you can keep your skiing/boarding gear.
Stone’s Throw is a condo complex that runs alongside the 16th hole of the Sun Peaks Golf Course, with some units even having a beautiful view of the green! In the winter this becomes part of the Hasta La Vista run which can lead you back to the complex or down to the Orient and Morrisey Express chairlifts.
Stone’s Throw is located in the East Village which means the complex is ski-in/ski-out by way of the Orient and Morrisey chairlifts. It is approximately a 10 – 15 minute walk to the main village or just a short drive.
The next closest complexes are Settler’s Crossing and Echo Landing, which means that if you want family or friends to book close by there’s essentially triple the options!
There is an underground parkade (clearance of 2.29m or 7’6″) with an entrance under the higher numbered units. There is a small courtyard around the lower numbered units which is a No Parking zone but temporary parking for the purpose of loading/unloading is permitted for 20 minutes or less. Another loading/unloading No Parking zone is located between the parkade entrance and Settler’s Crossing, ideal for units numbered in the 20s and 30s.
From the top of Sundance, use the Rambler run to connect to the East Village Ski Way and get on Hasta La Vista to return to the complex.
From the top of Orient, you can take Hasta La Vista directly down.
Alternatively, the East Village Ski Way can be used to access the road from a couple of complexes over and it is a short walk back to Stone’s Throw.
To ski-out, from the lower numbered side of the complex pass the trees to get on Hasta La Vista and under the Skier Underpass to get to the Morrisey and Orient Express chairlifts.
Alternatively, it’s approximately a 3 – 5 minute walk down to these chairlifts.
